Going out with some VERY significant people. Actually it would be great if anyone is heading out in the morning and has a back seat open. You may be suprised who is waiting for you.
You - would be able to treat someone to the great Lake St Clair - and this fishing nut / athlete hasnt been in Detroit long enough to get on smallies with an experienced fisherman.
PM tonight ASAP and I'll try to set something up.
So how'd it go?
Yeah, how and WHO?
Instead of putting it out there in this manner, why wouldn't you just call some of the people you know that are boat owners. I would have stepped up. I don't usually go on this forum on the weekends. I went fishing yesterday.....by myself. I ended up fishing in my club event and didn't contact the club director until I was on my way there. A phone call would have been the difference. Anyway, I hope you found someone to accommodate this person. I would hate to leave anyone at the dock.

Maybe he wanted to give everyone a fair chance? I don't know. Mojo did seem to be running all over. I passed him and waved after the TBF Jr Saturday. He didn't even see me.
From what I've been hearing through the grapevine, Mojo is quite the man about town. I wonder if we will be reading about him in Monthly Detroit Magazine. That's where all the "who's who" around town show up. That Mojo.....he's famous!!! ;)
BD. ;D
He was a little excited today. Just a little...
I forgot to help him with his pontoon or get my sign back!
I did hear that 'Coach Jedi' was mentioned on the radio and TV or something this evening? Coach Jedi coached his team to first place!
The young gentlemen are Detroit Lions who are also avid fishermen. They have only heard of our Golden Body and the small mouth, and wouldnt mind going out. So I simply , with the help of the incredibly nice gentleman Vince Reynolds, accomodated this opportunity to make someones day.
Thank you Vince for just an awesome lesson on how to work an area to become productive. We got on em and blasted 60 + smallies plus a few muskies !!
I've always believed in 3 base principles:
* Never miss a chance to make someones day
* Surround yourself with "Good ppl" - no matter how rich or poor, young or old etc ...
* It is more important to be a Go Giver than a Go Getter
* I'd rather be lucky than good ............
It seems in the last few weeks - these principles have nourished some great experiences.
Oh and Mc Carter F*%&#n ROCKS on Kent !! We missed a fish that would have had us contend to win the whole KVD / Lions Charity event !!
Thank you Peter from Earth to Earth ( Call him if you need hats, banners, t shirts, business prints or logos or emblems on glasses, notbooks etc ).
Thank you Dan from Kustom Kicker ( His two donated tackle packs were divided and given to all of the B.A.S.S pros and boat captains including KVD plus his tx jersey got some great photos with our 2012 Detroit Lions and channel 4)
Thank you Dan Kimmel .... for this website. You do great work.
Anyway guys, I never claimed to be a great stick, nor an expert, but if you ever need anything, I'm more than willing to give you what I can.
Mojo
Plus! You believe in 4 principles!
Just like that you're up 33%.
I told you he is famous!!!! :o

Here are the pictures as promised. Vince started us out looking for tournament waters and weed growth in several areas. The bite was slow, and Riley was excited to see fish in the water. HE was clearly suprised on how clean and clear the waters were on LSC, remarking several times how lucky we were to have this beautiful water. We went to a wreck and the bite picked up. Soon we caught his first Michigan smallie:

A few rockies, largeheads and smallies later and pretty soon Riley had the feel of a Shimano Crucial and Stratic 2500 combo as a smallmouth takes a DS bait. His hooksets went from green fish to bronze, and then we got into fish. ALot of them:

Rods bent every other cast - Doubles !!! Triples !!!! :

And of course our gentleman captain had a few good things happen up front as well:

All in all - about 60 fish with our best 5 going 17 - 18 lbs plus two Muskie, largies and rockies. Notice the grins. We spoke nothing of football, all of the lakes, boats to buy, gear to get, just a real nice group of gentlemen. For Vince and I, it was a nice day in our back yard. For Riley - His words:
The best fishing day he has ever had...... and thats pretty cool.
Another typical Lake St. Clair day.

Looks like you really had a fun few weeks there Mojo! Good for you!
Mojo, thank you for the kinds words.
It was a fun (and productive) day. You and Riley certainly helped to make it so. We need to do it again soon, Bro.
VinceR, did you ever try out for the Lions? You've got the height and shoulders?!?
Just a life-long fan, Dan. High school was the height of my football career.
