Title: Portage lake, st joseph mi questions

My partner has a work tournament there in the morning.  Can someone give me some info.  It's a couple hours from us so we know nothing.  Deep, shallow?  Large mouth, smallies?  What does it take to win?  You can pm me if you prefer.  I won't give away any secrets.  Probably never even be there again.

Well I figured out why no one responded.  They had ten boats Saturday.  Here are the details

1st Two fish 2.6
2nd one fish and big bass 1.6
3rd Brandon one fish 1.3
4th-10th tie zero fish

Where is Portage Lake in St. Joe?? ???

Portage Lake is in St. Joseph county.  It's east of 131 a little north of Three Rivers.  There are big fish in the lake but they have been hard to find the past few years.

St Joe County!! OK!!  I was thinking St. Joe/ Benton Harbor area and drawing a complete blank.  Thanks.
