Me and my buddy just started bass fishing, Im somewhat knowledgeable but coming into early fall....what are some of the techniques that work well and what kind of conditions are best (depth, structures, etc?)? Also im in the far extreme southwest michigan, any decent bass lakes around?? thanks for any help
There's plenty of good bass fishing near you. Right at the moment the big smallies are going nuts on the Benton Harbor stretch of the St. Joe.
Paw Paw has been hot this year for everybody but me. Magician's always good. My local favorite is Indian, but the launch (north end) really stinks.
Good luck.
They've been hitting anything as spinnerbaits for me lately.Even those little rooster tails and panther martin's have been getting attacked.
Anyone try the southern end of Lake Michigan for smallies in the Indiana stretch? I hear rumors of giant underfished smallies...?!?
Rumors, rumors, rumors......... ;D ;D
Ah? ...so it's all true!
