I heard from a buddy that Greg Deatsman and Jeff Bowne are the first day winners with 16 pounds and some change.
to say fishing is tough is an understatement. we caught 3 today for 5.9 and got 23rd place out of 120 boats. 50th was around 2 pounds. 88 degrees and sunny almlos like summer here. Now we get to do it again for 2 more days. Better than working though.
dartag is correct, it is very tough down here right now. We were fortunate to catch our limit today for 12.14 lbs which was good enough for 7 th place. Hopefully we can do it again tomorrow and Saturday.
