Didnt get out till 4pm and fished till 8pm. Water temp was 40-51 degrees. Sunny but strong north wind.
The marina area was tough controlling boat with wind as I only have 55# thrust. I fished the old dock pylons on way out to main lake. I wasnt touching anything until I made another swing and finally had enough boat control to actually bang the wooden pylons with a Strike King kvd 1.5 in black back chartreuse and picked up 2 keeper SM.
Once in main lake I switched to a chartreuse chatterbait and hit 2 4# SM and 2 keeper pike. In the 4 hours fishing I caught 10 SM with biggest 5 totaling 16.5#s.
Caught a couple on perch swimbaits and red craw redeye lipless cb. Most fish in 7 to 10' of water.
That should be 49-51 degree water temps.
