Non-boaters in red are already matched up with family/friends/special requests. I have 17 non-boaters needing a boat verses the number of nonmatched boaters above as of 5/6/2012. I will do a draw as soon as I hear back from the people I have sent questions to and we are a little closer to even.

If I did not call your name, please raise your hand...

Seriously, if you believe you entered and your name is not on one of these lists, please post on this thread or contact me through PM to let me know. If I do not have everyone set correctly who contacted me through email, PM, phone, etc. I'm not surprised. That is my specialty! Same thing - whichever you prefer - post on here or send me a PM to set me straight.

We are obviously a little more non-boater heavy than I thought we were if I have everyone right. I'm waiting for responses from a number of persons to clarify exactly where we are at. I probably will not have my boat fixed by then but I can take a nap in my car while you all fish to make sure everyone gets out. I always feel like I need a nap after driving over there in the early morning. We usually figure out ways to make it work so no one panic just yet. Thanks!

I updated the list. We are still a ways off from even with a surplus of non-boaters. I am waiting for confirmation from 1 boater. I have confirm a few others I haven't heard from in a while just to be sure.

I may have 1 more change yet. Pretty sure I won't have my boat fixed by then unfortunately so I'm not much help.

That sounds like a pretty good deal. The last time I napped on a boat in this event, I hooked a 5-6!! :)

If someone or a couple people want to ride over with me in the Tahoe (lots of room) from Grand Rapids EARLY Saturday morning I could be persuaded to bring my boat.  I have to make it a day trip though... heading back Saturday afternoon (after the feast!).

I hope someones takes you up on that. Still working on the situation.

1 boat closer with 5 more non-boaters than boaters. Still waiting to confirm 1 boater. Anyone heard from or seen Manxfishing? Getting worried. He isn't usually gone for this many days in a row.

I can follow you, or you can follow me. Best I can do to get you to bring your boat.  By the way, don't forget your vest and mask.

We're inching closer to equal. 4 more non-boaters at the moment.

And I found Manxfishing. Should have known. He's at Patoka Lake fishing the NBAA National Championships.

I just don't want to make the drive alone... done that several times and have nearly wrecked my rig on the way back by falling asleep.  So if I don't have a rider I'll still be tagging along with you as a non-boater.

I will never buy another sled......ever!!!  Maybe a Harley, but no more sleds. Great suggestions on names, but they are a bit long. Mike S works for now. One day, something will hit me, hopefully not literally, and it will work.

I moved all the food topics posts from today back over to the original food thread Fine eats at the Spring open (http://www.greatlakesbass.com/forum/index.php?topic=12819.0). Hard for me to keep track of boater / non-boater changes if we got off on too many tangents.

Boater / Non-boaters updated again now - 5/6/2012.

Boater list updated again as of 5/7/2012 2:25PM. We are down one more boater due to unforeseen circumstances. I do have a number of boaters who have offered to take 3 anglers. I think we will still get everyone out as long as we don't lose anymore boats.

Remember, this event is really about comradery and fishing fun. I will do my best to make sure no one goes out without having some places to fish if you aren't sure. I can do a mini-seminar. Maybe some of the other boaters/non-boaters familiar with the waters will volunteer some information on where to fish. The good thing about this time of year is that you don't have to make a real long run to catch some nice bass!

I don't see Skip's name anywhere!!??  Maybe I'll come since that gives me a chance to break even on gas!!  Seriously, I have to drive from WV to Illinois this weekend, towing the boat, and that's if I get my truck back by Friday since the transmission went out this weekend, again.  I really want to come, still rolling the idea over in my head, but don't count on me.  Last weekend with a pregnant wife for almost 3 months, not sure she'll be ok with me going early to fish.  And it adds 6 hours on to my trip which is already going to be 9-10.

welll, if someone has a pontoon boat they could take out 5-7 people and float around the mile roads all day long, and since it's catch and release there is no need for a livewell anyway

There shouldn't be any problems. Anybody 20 feet and up can comfortably fish 3. Way to step up Seth. 4 people!  I offered to take 3, that way everyone can be comfortable on the boat.

Come on guys. Just a few more boats. You can do it. Everyone will make sure you find fish. Follow the wave of boats, and you will be going the right direction.

I sure hope the forecast I'm seeing is wrong for Saturday. I'm seeing thunder storms. That's not cool.  For what it' s going to cost me to drag the boat there and back, I will fish regardless. Call me stupid, but I'm getting my money's worth.

We got it covered right now - see the draw list post - but maybe next year. I can see myself sitting on a lounge chair, drinking coffee, dragging a tube off the side. That's my kind of fishing anymore after getting up at 3:30 in the morning! Thinking about it... maybe add a cot with a light mattress for a short nap at noon. Then more coffee and dragging from the lounge chair. We can even make a sign with a name for your pontoon for that occasion!

I think if I got to fish from a pontoon, I'd think a little more about a substitute for the coffee. I'd be dragging more than just a tube by the end of the day. Guaranteed.

Ta da what? did you just pull a rabbit from somewhere??

For a short time, which you obviously weren't on here, I changed my user name. It was all in fun, showing what a good sport I am. Some saw it, I am sure. Yourself and Cy would have gotten a good laugh. But, that time was short and forever gone now.   I knew somebody would wonder wtf was going on.
I thought the "ta da" was better with out knowing you changed your name earlier.  I thought I understood it I have a "special" nephew.

Sorry.
