Okay... I have seen, and kind of heard, that weird Garmin commercial with Scott Martin and the weeny professional actor guy in the boat with the bass like 50 times. AND I STILL HAVE NO IDEA WHAT SCOTT MARTIN KEEPS REPEATING?!?
I'm not even 100% sure Scott Martin is saying the same exact thing each time...?? But I think he is? To me, people should be able to understand what Martin is saying, assuming it is English, because it makes anglers seem like dweebs. Which is pretty bad considering the weeny fake accent suit guy.
OR, is it just my hearing is that bad and everyone else knows exactly what Martin is saying?!? If you are like me and not sure, pick the choice above you think it is. Maybe we can solve that part anyway. Make anglers seem a little more normal...?
I will say it at least got me to remember it was something about Garmin and now I've given them more free advertising. Maybe that is what it is all about? If you have it figured out and I'm not even close, please, enlighten me. Thanks!! ;D
Dan
"I'll echo that"
Time for a hearing aid

How is he supposed to fish holding a big funnel up to his ear?
Yup, I'll Echo that!
I sell the Echo series. Great fish finders. Garmin has made great strides in the last 2 years on their fish finders. They still don't sell anything to compete with the Humminbird 700 series or the Lowrance HDS combo units but they are on their way to that market too.
really Dan... lol, you need a hearing aid my friend. its quite clearly Ill echo that. Im still going to go vote for one of your options though.
Frank
My ear has been plugged up with wax for almost 2 weeks. Can't hear a thing outa it. Even IIIII got what he said on the first shot.
Again guys, we can't give him too much greif. His fishing partners all kinda yell at him alot from what I have seen. ;D Mabye he is just going deaf like a duck dog in a blind. :D :D :D :D

I have been running Garmin for years, They do have the 720s which is a 7 inch touchscreen that is HD. They also have up to a 12.1 inch screen that runs about 3500$ that imop is Awesome. I have heard from a couple of buddies of mine that they are working on a si unit.
it took me awhile to figure it out but its "ill echo that"
You crazy Dan Kimmel ... you just posted this to see how many people are that bored ... you hear just fine.

The sonar section of the 700 series isn't what we as bassfishermen are used to seeing. It gives you the raw data of what's below the surface. It doesn't do a good job of "marking" fish with an arch like a 'Bird or Lowrance unit does so most inland lake fishermen don't really like them as much. The new Echo series does the data manipulation to give you the arches.
And yes, my rep tells me they are working on a version with side imaging but don't expect to see it this year.
I like 'em a fat! ;D
Great... now I need new glasses AND a hearing aid?!?
I still can't hear anything that sounds like 'echo' ?? I can spell 'enunciate' but can't hear 'echo.' And who talks like that?!? Not a champion bass angler from Florida anyway... Pretty sure I've never said, "I'll echo that" to anyone. I may have yelled across a valley or two to hear my echo. I've never seen an echo.
Yep, I'll echo that!!!
BD. ;D
Dan, you have never said "I'll echo that" to anyone because you have never had a guy holding a fat check to give to you for saying it. I bet you could be swayed. I would say JUST ABOUT anything for the right amount of money. Notice that just about is in all caps!
I was really rooting for 'something German.'

Here you go Dan. "I'll Echo that" translated to German would be, Ich werde das auch so! Now you know some good old fashioned, home country German.
nine
ten

Genie my german is so so but isn't the no you speak of spelled nein and not spelled like the english number 9? No also depending on the use could be nicht.
Probably ... spelling it as nine gets the correct pronunciation for those reading ...
Maybe... but it's not German. So I stick to 'ten.' Nine nicht gut!
Wow jemand, der Deutsch spricht. Meine frau spricht Deutsch, so das ich sie bitten, ein paar worte. Speaking of pointless.
Guten tag mein Herr. Wie geht es.
