Title: Looking for a couple new Global Moderators for GreatLakesBass.com Forum
Post by: djkimmel on March 09, 2012, 01:13:09 PM
We are growing and I thought I'd get ahead of the curve a little by lining up 2 or 3 more global moderators. The job doesn't pay much (no cash for sure ;D) but it isn't too hard on here thanks to all the fine outstanding members on GreatLakesBass.com.

Basically, it just involves watching the site for pure spam to be deleted which I try hard to keep it from ever getting through, and to occasionally edit the most serious cases of cabin fever - really not very common on here. Again, thanks to all of you for that!

If you're interested, no resume required. Just send me a PM. With great power comes just a little responsibility.

Thanks,
Dan Kimmel

Okay. Thanks for the feedback everyone. I did pick 2 members and I'm going to stop there for now. You are all such good persons that we don't have much to do but I like having eyes on the forum when mine can't be just in case a really nasty spammer gets through my shields. They are constantly trying.

mikesmiph and LAPORTE are the newest Global Moderators added to Revtro, joshimoto son and FOB. I sure appreciate the extra effort it takes to keep an eye on things and I know this group will do a great job!

I expect to have grown enough by the end of the year to need a few more and will ask again then. Thank you and thanks to mikesmiph and LAPORTE for stepping up to the plate!

Not a problem. I let Veronica do most of the work anyway.
