The first pay per view ($2.99) Major League Fishing (MLF) became available on line today. I watched it this morning and was very impressed. Can't wait to watch the next one. 8 of the 24 anglers fished today from identical 18 ft 150 hp boats with empty electronics. They weren't told which section of the lake that they all would fish until the morning of. They got to look for 15 minutes and then the official in each boat gave them the green light to start fishing. They fished for three timed quarters with two breaks between where they all had to gather and meet. The official weighed each fish with a boca grip to the nearest quarter pound. The counted every fish that made the 14 inch bump. There are a number of little nuances to the format, ie. if you break off you incur a one minute penalty. The angler has to sit and can't do anything during that time. Can't retie, or do anything but sit there for the minute. I won't tell you which four of the eight anglers move on, but the fourth and fifth place anglers were separated by only a quarter of a pound.
It is just about two hours long and there are a couple of Jack Links Jerky commercial spots that last only a matter of 10 seconds, but there are no other commercials. It's well worth the $2.99.
I watched it last night, pretty sweet. How about that A-rig?
Did you order it through comcast

Nope... it's an online streaming video.
Can someone post a link ?

Their home page seems to have an issue right now.
I mentioned in another post that I had trouble viewing their free video. I could get sound but no picture. I clicked their help button and saw that they were pushing Firefox as a browser, so I downloaded it and I also updated my Adobe Flash, both Firefox and Adobe Flash are free downloads. Once I did that, I had no problems viewing. You do have to register and pick out a username and password and then pay the $2.99. Once you do, you are good to watch it as often as you like for a 24 hr. period. I guess if you pay their $17.99 for access to all the videos you would get them and be able to watch them as many times as you would like. The first video is almost two hours long and is virtually commercial free except for two Jack Links Jerky farting Sasquatch 10 second blips.

I paid for all of them, I like all of the content you get over two hours vs maybe 35-40 from an FLW/Elite event on tv.
It's worth the money so far!

I bought the $18 pack, like it so far
The second video became available to view last night at midnight. I'll have to watch it later today. Too many errands this morning that have to get done to watch it now.

I watched and it is worth the money. Great concept. The A-rig kicks butt in the first episode!
Just bought the basspass to watch all of the videos and definitely a great way to help cure cabin fever. It's a great new concept and the fishing has been entertaining and the host Sheri Sanders is nice to watch as well!
They have a girl, even a good looking one, doing the color commentary? Heck, that's reason enough to get it right there!
Now if I only had internet at the new house... friggen comcast.
