I completely agree with Rick Clunn on this one (Episode 27 posted 2/7/2012). Emotional and counter-productive.

He also says banning nets was not done to take it easier on the bass but to give the cameramen more time to get great shots for TV. Interesting how some of this stuff comes about.

I've always been a proponent of being honest why we do things even if it isn't the best PR. I also understand why sometimes organizations do the opposite because they think it is in their best interest. Sometimes that works and sometimes it backfires.
