Title: Accident
Post by: stackenem on July 25, 2006, 06:10:27 AM
As you now know Sat afternoon I was involved in an accident. First of all I would like to say thanks to all of you who called and offered to help. It was great of all of you. Now to the facts. I was returning from the fishing friends event which by the way went great thanks to all the people who gave their time to take a kid fishing. Any way as I was leaving I had to take a detour which took me out to m59 at bogie lake road. Now this is where things get fuzzy. I was in the thru lane with 2 right turn lanes beside me. All i know is that the 2 cars in the turn lanes went and I did to. I made it across 2 lanes of traffic then I was hit in the drivers door by a 2006 silverado pickup. She hit me hard enough that it thru my boat into the back end of her truck then when it came back it broke all the hold downs including the ring on the front of the boat proceeding to throw my boat off the trailer into the east bound lane of m59. As I write this I am just waiting for the Insurance company to complete their paperwork so I can get on with my options. As for me I came out of this with no problems. I got one small bruise on my elbow and that was all. The driver of the other truck went to the hospital to be checked out and I found out that she is also Ok. All I can say is that I was being watched out for that day. Once again I just want to say thanks to all that called.

Wow, that's scary. I used to work up there at the airport and that traffic up there can be a female dog. I hope every one is well and they get you fixed up real soon.
