Finesse-fishing on hard water

Six to zero was the count after approximately one hour of ice-fishing on Prior Lake, a 1,500-acre natural lake located 25 miles south of the Twin Cities. The sunfish and crappies were biting, but in an extremely finicky manner. These panfish were so picky that if they felt the slightest hint of resistance, they would drop the bait and leave the eager ice angler empty handed.
