Some of the guys said he should have gunned it. Lots more said he did the right thing.

I'm a little smarter now but there was a time I rarely let anything keep me from trying. I do regret a number of those days but no one got hurt. Not seriously anyway... Well, no people. My poor boat. Good thing it's a Ranger!

Sometimes it's not worth it but we get a lot of these decisions in the Great Lakes with few breaks in between at times.

Sorry I missed your comment way back then. We all get a little smarter the more we see other people make mistakes if we learn from them.  ::)

I can't tell much from that video but it looks like he is over trimmed...Keep her trimmed down and let the hull eat...
