Fisheries Management: Improving forage base for bass

The quest for big bass is sending anglers to places like Mexico’s Lake El Salto and other exotic fishing destinations around the world. It is also putting a lot of pressure on fisheries managers here in the United States to produce more trophy bass. The question is how. Several variables contribute to growing big bass, but one thing is for sure â€" without a solid forage base, you can’t grow trophy bass.
