Merry Christmas everybody! I don't know if this has been posted here but here's a gift for you.
Go to the Trokar hooks website, click the "Join Team Trokar" link and take the quiz (you can take it as many times as you want - the answers are posted as the FAQs). Then you create a user account and sign up with their website.
In exchange, you get a prize pack with a free pack of Trokar hooks. It took me about 2 weeks to get mine, but I got a 5 pack of 5-0 offset RB worm hooks. I've never tried the hooks and read mixed reviews, but hey, the price is right.

Thanks for the heads up and Merry Christmas! Just joined.
Got my Tro-Kar package today for signing up! A pack of Worm Hooks (7), a great media booklet and a nice bag for picking up some more fishing tackle!! Has to be over $15 worth of goods!
And FREE!
Me too, thanks again fisherman John!
Just took the quiz and signed up. The FAQs, by the way, are found under the "Trokar Story" button. It's interesting that they are made in Denver and that's where I'm visiting right now. Going to look up their address. Maybe get a tour.
Yeah nice to be able to support a product made right here in the good ol' US.
My package was waiting for me when I got home from the show last night. Looks great. Thanks for the notice of this. I use Trokar a lot.
When I took the Trokar Quiz I was curious as to where they were made in the good ole USA. I looked it up and lo and behold it is about 8 miles from where my son lives in Denver. It just so happens, we are out here for a week, so we drove to where there factory is. TroKar is actually a Wright McGill Co. product. I won a Wright McGill bait casting rod from Bassmaster Magazine earlier in 2011. They also manufacture the Eagle Claw brand products, Skeet Resse's rods and reels etc. I took a few pics and then we saw they had a factory store. Cruised through it and bought a few things. Here are a few of the pix I took.
Very cool Dan! Did you get to see any of the actual product assembly in the factory? I've never been to a tackle factory though I'd like to see the St. Croix facility if I ever make it up that way...I just so happen to have a small addiction to St. Croix rods. ;D
I didn't do that. Never really crossed my mine. Now that you mention it though I should have. Next time out to Denver, I'm definitely going to do that.
Thanks for the tip. Filled out the survey and yesterday I got a pack of 6 #3 worm hooks some stickers and a backback. Those hooks will look good with a 1/2 Senko on them.
( in about 4 months ).
Got my free hooks, stickers, and some bag with a bunch of strings on it (you say it's a backpack? Not like the one I used in college that's for sure!).
Free stuff is always good!
" (you say it's a backpack? "
thats what my wife said it was. I said it was a bag with a bunch of strings on it. ;D
I got mine yesterday. A "backpack," two stickers, a brochure, and a package of No. 3 /0 Trokar finesse worm hooks QTY 6
Got the same package today! Kinda excited to try the keeper on the hooks on the baits
I got mine on Friday. I like the looks of the hooks with the bait keeper on them. I'll give em a try.
The big kit of Trokar hooks for $80.00 is tempting. I will definitely being trying several of the Trokar Hooks this year, because they seem like high quality and they are made in the USA.
I hate sending soo much of our money to Asia for soo many of our fishing related products.

AGREED!!!!
Since the hooks came down $ 7 that puts them about twice as the gamys I use. but if they last longer and dont rip the baits up, it's ;D a win win
After fishing them all last season, the Trokars actually do not last any longer than any other quality hook on the market. They might be sharper out of the box than some, but honestly... they seem to get dull just as fast, or even faster than other hooks. In my opinion... not worth the $ they get for them. But I'll take some for free of course... can never have enough hooks.
