Just wondering how many members are going to be at this thing.I will be there saturday morning for a day of festivities. ;D
I'm sure we'll have a small crew make the trip over on Saturday.
Savage and i are planning to head down Friday afternoon
count me in
I'll be there Thursday only this year. Mike Smith and Veronica are heading up the booth after that. Make sure you stop by and see that Veronica is cracking the whip on Grandpa Mike! ;D
I should have a booth number soon for the GLBass booth. Should be another great show!
I plan on being there multiple days. I told Dan I'd work his booth, and I've also told Wayne Carpenter I'd be available to work in the Fishing Information Services/Xtreme Bass tackle booth.
But then I also have to schedule time for me to enjoy the show as well.
Looking forward to seeing everyone again. We can't wait.
I will be making a trip down state that weekend and will hit show on Sunday.
I hope to be there this year. Not sure which day yet but I will stop by the booth for sure.
I'll be there every day and every hour manning the Anglers Mart Booth
So please stop by so I have a reason to take a break!

I always enjoy saying Hi to fellow fishermen.
i'll be there saturday morning
Imma be. Probably Saturday for now. I can work the booth as much as needed that day...so far.
I'll be in the GLB booth Saturday and Sunday and will probably end up going thursday or friday to meet the great DJKIMMEL (no relation to jimmy?).

Dan's only going to be there Friday
He's a great guy. The part that still amazes me is
He knows all the fishermen. Young or Old
Bass, Walleye or Musky some how he knows them
BUT... he won't know them on Friday because he'll be flying to Miami on Friday. He will however know some of them on Thursday!! (No close ties to Jimmy however... though he has stolen quite a few of my lines!!! ;D )

Is KVD going to be there any other day than Friday?
Most likely Sat. or Sun. for me, depending on work and family stuff. Looking forward to it though.
Looks like Saturday evening for me...I just noticed that I am on the schedule for Sat. evening.
KVD is there Friday only. He seems to be a busy guy...
Will the TBF have a booth this year?
Yes. They are next door to my booth.

OK. I'm coming over with another super secret GLB'er and he is going to some seminar during the day (unless he gets called home 15 minutes after he gets there like last year) that I don't plan to, so I thought I might hang out for a bit.
That must be one dedicated guy to drive 2 1/2 hours to a show only to get called into work 15 minutes after getting there and have to turn around and go home!!!
I will be there. I don't know what day yet. Probably Saturday. 10 month old twin girls are a lot of work. I hope I get more time to fish this season. . .
Good luck with that Jay!!

Don't count on it Jay. When my triplets were born I didn't fish much for quite a few years. Seems there's always something more important to do. Maybe not in your mind, but the wife and the kids have different ideas as to how Dad should spend his time.
And that's OK.

I didn't say I was coming with a very bright GLB'er.

Now thats funny in so many ways.
Do any of you know if there is parking room for motor homes at the show?
Thanks
Bob
Not sure, but I do know trailers are not allowed in the parking lot during the show.
I would call them to confirm but I doubt there is parking for RV's but you never know until you ask.

I saw that the Holiday Inn nearby has a shuttle to and from the event.

WOW triplets! I guess you had even less time that I do now. I understand what you and Mojo are saying. . . But I have to get back out there fishing else I will go CRAZY! I only fished 2 tournaments last year. It was tough with the twins and losing my best friend, fishing partner Dave "MadWags" Wagensomer. I told myself I would be on the water more this season. We will see. . .
We'll get you out on St. Clair in early May anyway!
Yeah I'll tell you what Jay. You PM me when you need to get out we'll go. I understand completely. We can even commiserate together while we fish. A guys got to get away to recharge his batteries. Just remember, so does your wife.
The first year the kids were here I used to shoot in an archery league on Thursday nights. It was only for an hour or two but I looked forward to it every week. For two hours I could actually relax and not think/worry about anything except hitting the bulls eye.
Doing the weekly grocery shopping was a field trip.
I had to do things like that to keep my sanity. (I know some would argue that it didn't work and I've never recovered).
So when you need to give me a call. We'll go out and smack smallies on Clair, or pitch jigs on Kent. Something. Anything. Just to get out.
I will definately be taking you up on your offer. I promise you that.
