Title: 8' castaway crankbait rod.
Post by: thedude on October 19, 2011, 06:28:31 PM
i have a rod i made for myself that i've decided to part with. It is built on a castaway xp3 965 graphite crankbait blank (same one kriet used in the 2010 classic i think). top of the line spiral wrapped zirconia micro guides, split eva grips with accent trim and a trimmed fuji reel seat (no threads exposed ahead of the lock-nut). The overall weight is a meager 4.2oz.

I haven't branded this rod (no decals) and probably only made 30  casts with it. I thought i might be able to get used to a graphite cranking blank, but I'm going to stick with glass. I will add any custom decals/labeling you want to personalize it.

looking to get 150 shipped for it. reasonable offers will be entertained, discount for local delivery.

well, i sold it a while back, the new specs are its a 7'6" fast action as the post office was kind enough to shorten it for me. good thing it was insured.

That is one way to get your money out of a rod, I guess.
