Oh good. Another thing to debate about! ;D
I only missed being on the list by a little bit. . . I've never fished the river so I didn't make the "at least 2 events in the last 5 years." That is the only thing keeping me off the list! LOL!!!
Recognize many names on it though... Mark sure knows the river doesn't he!!??!!

Ok, I will start... ;D...Steve Clapper in 31st place...You have got to be kidding me.....Guy wins a quarter of a million dollars in a premier event and he is in 31st????
I know there are people not on, or not high on the list that are more deadly more often. They just don't fish the kinds of tournaments being counted as much. Do they have a Lake Erie ranking? I didn't look. If they include all of Lake Erie it will be filtered with middle of the lake events amongst East Lake Erie events. That will also make the water muddy.
As far as top level majors, I would just ask the pros who they think is numbered one based on the 'oh crap, he's fishing this event' rationale and I would guess KVD would win fairly easily. He's kicked butt in B.A.S.S and FLW and even Spain in their big national tournament. No one else is even close but there are a whole bunch of guys underneath that fish one or the other or even mostly just the West Coast.
If the people running that website really want some traffic, they need to allow discussion of their decisions, no just comments. It will get crazy at times but it would drive a lot of traffic because people like to 'debate' about sports rankings. They ought to add a West Coast ranking too. They have their own world out there with some big names hardly known elsewhere.
I didn't read how they take into effect events that have more or less entries than other events at the same 'level.'
Well,
I think I'm safe of never having a bad picture on a trading card
Interesting list
You should go for it! Maybe you'll have a good picture?!?

Dan,
There's not a lack of passion on my part
It's more of a lack of funds and talant (but I'm getting better. LOL)
KVD #3 what a joke lol
I'm not ranked . Just rank
Gives you something to shoot for (no pun intended... well, maybe a little pun)

Ok, so I am not on the list, but I am probably the only one on here that has fished with Glenn Chappelear @ #9.

Somehow, they will know!
Glen is a great guy (from GA) and a Brother in the Lord, he called me a few years ago, when he was coming to Erie (for his first time) to pre-fish the FLW event. I was on the waiting list as a non-boater, so I took a few days off and pre-fished with him. It was a great time, and he finished 16th in that event. Obviously he has continued to do well up here.
Always fun to fish with a friend.
Hmm?? Second as a co on Erie. ???
What's that?
Hmmmmm I'm sure I'm not on the list. Some days I can be pretty rank on the water !!!! lololol It's just the fishing Gods humbling me. lololol
I wouldn't worry too much. The mathematical of us on here have already pointed out some major flaws in their statistical thinking anyway. And I can't smell you from here! ;D
