I need to rewire my trailor so thanks for the link!  One question I have for you all is this...
I currently have hydraulic brakes which the first owner removed the calipers and pads.  The hydraulic reservoir is completely empy and rusty at this point.  Is it worth fixing the hydraulic at this point?

Depends on the weight of the boat. If it is a glass boat in the few thousand pounds ranger, I wouldn't be with out them. If you have a 1000 pound alumimin rig, probably not.

The thought that makes me worry about fixing the trailer is why the calipers were removed in the first place.  Do hydraulic brakes stick, is that why they were removed?  Anyone else have problems with hydraulic trailer brakes?
