I just e-mailed the MDNR director Rebecca Humphries. I told her how much I enjoyed myself this year fishing early and not feeling like a criminal.  I talked with Dan at the BFL meeting about this and he agrees it would be a good thing if everybody did the same.  The e-mail is   humphrir@michigan.gov    spread the word.

It's her email address, so you just need to copy it into your email program in a new email, enter a subject, write your note and send. Just tell her how much you enjoyed the extra opportunity to fish for bass - that it is important to you.
