I'm looking into recarpeting my boat becuse it's starting to look how I fish, UGLEY! ;D I,d like to get some opinons on rather to go with pre-cut, the best weight carpet to get and who are some of the best sellers of carpet
DD
The Best carpeting that I have seen is the 24 oz carpet that Bass Cat sells right off from their website....Alot of boat restorers from bass boat central swear by it....If you get a chance check out the restoration site there...Those guys down south really know how to do rework on those old bass rigs....
Check out the carpet here....Under boat products..

I got mine through Mike at West Marine and was very happy with it. Getting ready to start another boat, and will be going back to him for more. Half the cost of other places I found. And, I did a LOT of research.
I need carpet on my boat as well. I'll be sure to check out both. It's all down to quality for the price.
BD ;D
Well, I'm finally getting to the carpet job. Bought the carpet, glue. tools and accesories and I'm ready to go. I starting disassembling the boat yesterday and really don't like the condition of the plywood decking. Any suggestions on what to replace it with? Is a treated plywood underlayment good?
Where did you end up getting the carpet?
