Title: kent lake conditons
Post by: dartag on June 28, 2006, 12:43:07 PM
drove throught the park today and noticed all the surface weeds are gone.  anyone know if they spayed the lake.  i know the harvester had been out but didn't think it could do that good of a job..  sure looked like good water..

Interesting.  I wonder if Bob Barker had anything to do with it.

That right there is funny...

When they get the harvester out, it pretty much cleans the lake out...except for the deep stuff.  It also does a good job of spreading the fish out (unfortunately)...

Me and the rest of the Gang just busted Bob Barker a few miles from the east launch of Kent Lake.  He claimed responsibility for the spaying of the lake and noted that he would have gotten away with it too, if not for us medling kids.

Go fish where you got the nice one in the OBM Tourney...those weeds will still be there and should hold a couple good ones...There's no need to plant any because it will be plugged up again in a few weeks...

Fish the bends of the channel too.  And dont forget the large flat on the west side of the lake.  The drop will hold some good fish.

If I can make it out of work early enough I would like to go also, I like that lake but I need a lot of help with it and larger lake fishing in general.
