Title: Hello Mongolia
Post by: djkimmel on June 17, 2011, 11:36:58 PM
Just wanted to put a shout out to the 10 visitors so far this month from Mongolia. I do appreciate the support.

Japan is interesting for me. It has now doubled to over 2,100 unique visitors last month. I guess they like those Great Lake smallmouths!

Just saw that we had almost 28,000 unique visitors in May. Right now we are on track for 35,000 in June!! That would be amazing. Now if I can continue to convince more of them (other than the spammers of course) to sign up on here and participate, we'll start having some more fun around here than we already do...

I do want to say a special thanks to the people in Ohio for their recent vault into 2nd place state! Congratulations!

I bet it would take a while for people to guess what state has the third highest traffic on GreatLakesBass.com... anyone want to guess? Even more interesting, that same state is trending to move into 2nd place behind the juggernaut Michigan!

Nope. Little disappointed in Wisconsin and Minnesota lately. They got kicked out of the top 10 in May by a Southern state and an Eastern state. Minnesota is making a comeback though this month so thanks Minnesota! Cmon Wisconsin!

I am going to take two guesses....

First is Indiana....Second New York......

I know alot of the southern guys have been coming up to LSC lately so it doesn't surprise me that the volume for those states is pretty high..It is good to see them coming up and spending their money in this region...

May have recruited two more. New NBAA members i met at a tourney. Very eager anglers. Told them about the site and they seemed very interested.

The correct question is: 'They got bass anglers in Mongolia?'

New York is a good guess. Top five or six each month now. Indiana is top 10 but fell far below Illinois about 8 months ago.

Someone at the NBAA St. Clair Super Bass today guessed it on the first try! They used simple logic, it turns out!

Logic??  Bass fishing defies all logic.  They got to have bass in Mongolia before they have bass anglers................don't they??  I am all confused now...........I picked a heckuva week to give up drinking............

Easy, California.

You go it! Texas is in the top 6 but California has moved into 2nd place now of all states with Ohio 3rd. The person who guessed this weekend said he went just by population. I don't know if that is why, but it worked. California has been coming on strong for something like 8 months now. Texas and Florida too!

Georgia and New Jersey knocked Minnesota and Wisconsin out of the top 10 last month but Georgia has dropped back out of the top 10.

1.  Michigan   10,127
2.  California  1,430
3.  Ohio        1,221
4.  Illinois    1,079
5.  New York      893
6.  Texas         855
7.  Indiana       738
8.  Florida       700
9.  Minnesota     448
10. New Jersey    419
