Great news!  I have missed all the other majors here in Michigan but I'll be sure to make it to this one.  I hope they have something better planned than launching at Elizabeth Park and trailering to Monroe walmart though.  Those fish will be beat up worst than a 40 mile ride on Erie with Michigan's roads!!!

I assume they will have the last day weighin at Wal-Mart. Do they do the other days there too? I thought it was just the last one or two with limited number of boats??

Dan,

Currently they have the last two days inside the big tent in a Wal-Mart parking lot.  Earlier this year FLW announced that the weigh-ins will be inside a stadium or areana.  We'll have to wait for the details to see where they will be weighing in for the Detroit event.

I was watching the FLW weigh-in at Champlain yesterday (don't tell my boss!) and they were on their regular stage, I think the one they have in the giant tent stadium.  I thought the last day was in a convention center or something?
