I'm planing on heading to Lake Ovid Sunday morning. I have only fished it from shore once before and never in a boat. I plan on targeting bass since I hear it can be solid bass fishing. I know its a no wake lake but how slow do I really have to go? I'm heading out there with a buddy that also has no real knowledge of Ovid. Any advice or tips would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Slow so you don't leave a wake. Slow no wake. It's a small lake only 400 acres. It doesn't take long to get anywhere. Enjoy the scenary too.
Remember it is a lowland reservoir - man-made lake. Be thinking river channel, ditches, ledges and underwater cover. Lots of wood and weeds to fish.
