skip johnson returned to the champion position fishing with LAPORTE with a big 24 pound 5 ounce 5 bass limit! Tougher job this year with the biggest turnout ever for a GreatLakesBass.com members tournament featuring 28 boats and a total of 58 participants! old$chool fished his first members tournament in honor of David 'MadWags' Wagensomer taking out Jay-MadWags and Liza Wagensomer - our special guest - to finish 2nd with another impressive limit of 23 pounds 13 ounces. Jay-MadWags landed 2nd big bass of the event with a trophy 5-3 smallies while overall big bass went to Eric and his 5-4 smallie! No 6 pounders this year but lots of 4 and 5 pounders!

Someone turned in a no name weigh in slip that was so faded I couldn't read it though it looked like there were a few good weights on it if I guessed right. Mikesmiph? Must be because capt charlie's charters and jcheetam declined to turn in their weigh in slip (too many big ones I guess ;D ).

No rest for the volunteers... ;D Looks like you caught a few nice ones anyway before you came in early to do all the cooking. I could probably have guessed your weight but I think I need a secret spy decoder, some lemon juice and quad-focals to read it correctly!
