Non-boaters bring a life jacket that you like to wear to be on the safe side.

Please notify me ASAP about any changes in your status. Otherwise, I look forward to seeing all of you Saturday morning no later than 7:15am.

First of  all, how often are the weather people right? That's what I thought. I won't send anyone out in lightning. People can go fishing on their own if they want.

Lets watch the weather and see what happens, but I will be there regardless because they have been wrong in the past when something like 6 or 8 people didn't show up but the rest of us went fishing and had a pretty good day. I will decide at the ramp if we launch the actual event or not. It is a big lake and sometimes only part of the lake gets the storms. I will be there to see what is going on locally.

If storms come in later during the day, or course, please take cover, go to shore, whatever you need to do to be safe. That is way more important. Meanwhile, I cross my fingers and toes that we end up okay. If someone doesn't want to go out because of rain, we'll make do at that time.

I reworked the draw a little considering 2 non-boaters have now canceled. We are now 1 boater over. One boater possibly might now make it so I need everyone else.

I relieved thedude because he was bringing a smaller boat from afar to help out and I do want to try to help with costs during these high gas price times as much as I can. thedude, if you don't want to bring your boat, we'll make it work.

well the boat is going anyway since i'll be there 2 extra days. If i'm solo, i'll jump on as a non-boater with cy or something. no big deal.

As far as I'm concerned, it can storm just like it has all day today, on Saturday. They weren't right today, no reason they will be on Saturday. Its 82 and sunny, and I'm loving being outside working on the boat. Thanks Mother Nature, see you Saturday.

That's good to know in case we have a few 'fair weather' fallouts or something! ;D Thanks!

That's the spirit Mike! It stormed here for a short time last night around midnight but it's fantastically gorgeous out right now. Have the windows open and the birds are singing away!

Are you being serious about this? You talked to Jon and he wants to fish as a non-boater?

I would normally be their rain or shine but since I'm bringing a nephew and sister-in-law, I'm going to have to make a call in the morning based on the conditions. I'll be there is the weather forecasters are wrong and they have been wrong most days.

Dan,
What time do you plan on getting to Harley? If you need a hand getting anything set up let me know. I live about 5 minutes from there and would be happy to help with whatever. That is if anyone knows where I can come up with a weighmaster. All my back up plans to get one are taking a sh*t.

I had a heck of a time with that Gator company and getting weighmaster boards...That is why I hold on to 2 now...There customer service was horrible and it took multiple calls and threats to get the boards to me...
They did send a weigh bag to make up for it but that leaked... ::)

As far as weather they called for storms all day and all we had was a little rain this morning....It was actually to nice out there and not enough wind...If feels really strange to fish LSC and not be rocking all over..I almost asked FF Jeff to rock the boat some so I felt more at home.. ;D

I ordered one from Gator Grip last week figuring even with snail mail it would be more than enough time. Told them I had to have it by 5/13 and to let me know if it would be a problem. What the hell?

Not sure if I can get anymore Weighmasters in the future, but I can't get any by tomorrow. We should have a few extra.

As far as the weather, I didn't see or hear a storm today until almost 6pm. I'm hoping it gets itself out of its system tonight again like last night now that they finally got here.

As far as when I'll be there (River Rat!!!) I'm shooting for 7am. So far so good. Only about 4 changes called in today. Not too bad. I have a lot of the paper work done BUT I did get a butt-load of boxes and bags in the mail today from our fantastic advertiser sponsors so it just depends on how fast I go through all that (and how fast I can drink how much coffee in the morning! ;D ).

In addition, my truck is finally fixed and almost everything in my boat works including the new steering (1st trip on the water all year with the truck and boat today for a few hours with fingers crossed).

One, maybe two additional boats tomorrow morning too!
