Just thought I'd throw it out there to make sure you are extra careful out there this time of year. I would hate to see this happen to anybody, even the tuna boaters.Here's a link to the article in the Port Huron Times Herald.

There were a few floaters down on the Mile Roads Thursday...I went blowing by a large tree about 55 mph...I asked my Wife to help me watch out for logs when I looked over she was taking a nap..... ;D....The water was calm but the ride wasn't that smooth.. ;D
We went zipping around out there also Motocross. Tim and I did watch for logs. Mostly saw the same ones floating around the crocker launch. Did see a piece of plywood floating by while we fished. lol
As a 'survivor' of the 'new outboard through floating tree' method of replacement, I always urge caution and attentiveness on the water when running any boat!
Forget the logs, picnic tables are the best!

Kent lake is full of them. We saw 2 submerged yesterday. i think they were spawning.
