Fished Orchard lake today
Started in the back bay with a jerk bait throwing shallow (3 feet)
And came up with just 2 small fish
Switched over to rattle trap and started to hook up with keepers (LM)
And then I switched colors on the jerk bait and went back and forth between them.
After that we hit the main lake and caught a mixed bag
On the side of the island, in front and even to south shore line
The SM were in 5-6" males and females were the LM over 7-9' and all males.
Color wise it was any thing with a orange belly
Ended up with 10 or 11 counting the 2 small fish or 8 or 9 keepers
Biggest being a 19" male SM
caught a half dozen pike with no lost lures
All in all, just happy to be on the water
