Water temps around 46-48 degrees. The action was very slow. Caught one pike and three nice crappies. Strong southernly winds made it very difficult getting the boat back on the trailer. Would of helped if the other dock was in and a three-axeled trailered boat wasn't sitting next to the dock, testing out his engine.
Not fun at the time, but can laugh about it now. I'm just glad nothing got too banged up but my pride ;)
I need to get out ASAP to redeem myself....
fished GULL on mothers day with my dad (ive fished it since i was 5 years old since i live 3 miles away) caught two 4lb smallies. we were just out trying to catch some pike because the bass havent been biting very much and ended up fighting with 2 big bronzebacks!
