Title: Vicious fishing tackle
Post by: huston on April 21, 2011, 08:50:33 AM
I was in Walmart in Livonia on Plymouth & Middlebelt  yesterday and they had a display in the sporting good section of the store with Vicious tackle,etc..., line, soft plastic, spinnerbaits, jigheads. The jigheads were the only thing that looked good because they had stand up and football jigheads in three paks for $1.96 and the hooks looked like Gamakatsu hooks. Different sizes too.

I used the Vicious Pro Elite Fluorocarbon down in Alabama when I was down there recently. I used the old fluoro they have and found it a bit stiff. The new Pro Elite was very soft and limp. I was impressed with it and will continue using it. I used the 8 lb. on my spinning reels. Fluoro on the baitcasters isn't really ever a problem for me. I like something soft though for the spinning reels so that it doesn't come off in loops. In the past I have went with fluoro leaders with the spinning rod, but with this new fluoro I won't have to do that. You can't beat the price of the Vicious line. I have also used their lizards and their senko type baits. No complaints and they are cheap.
