Title: Fishing alone
Post by: Revtro on August 14, 2018, 08:10:33 AM
I'm not a big fan of fishing alone.  I really prefer having someone to chat with all day and on St. Clair, I just feel better having a partner.  But I can't find anyone to fish with today, so I'm going it alone.  Yes, I'll wear my PFD, be safe, etc.  I'm only posting this because 1. I'm bored.  2. If anyone likes to fish midweek, I tend to go out on Tuesdays.  Hit me up and keep me company.  LOL

Today's plan: Gonna hit the river from Marine City and northward.  In years past this time of year, the river would get solid and reliable.  The past 2 years things seem off up there but I'm hearing good reports, so I want to see if some of the old haunts are holding smallies.  I'll post how it goes later.

Seems like I'm hearing very little and it sounds similar to the past number of years though a few people are catching them, even catching some big bass. It may just not be the numbers that are being caught in the lake.

I like to fish alone sometimes. I like to fish with others too. You can learn a lot either way - different types of learning. Both valuable. It is wise to take additional safety precautions as well when fishing alone.
