The new St. Clair Goby from Wayne along with his new DVD starring Dan Kimmel.  Some lip sticker rattle tube jigs. ISG tubes from Mike's RX.  Spinnerbaits from Red Dirt Tackle.

I bought a pound of chocolate fudge with pecans and a pretzel, does that count? Seriously, I did not buy anything fishing related for the first time ever at a fishing show.

I did check out the Leverage nets, if I fished more tournaments it's the only net I would have. It is sweet!

I also checked out a Dobyns 7' MH Savvy Series casting rod with a new Lew's reel on it. The reel had a carbon fiber handle and 11 bearings and the combo was extremely light and well balanced. The wife was gonna buy it for me for my birthday but I talked her out of it?! WTH is wrong with me! ??? Anyways, I will probably take a road trip down to Mike's RX Baits and pick it up a few months down the road. Having it around with all this frozen water will hurt too much.

1/2 pound of spicey garlic jerkey from Deerings Market (love those guys!!)
2 pepsis
1 slice of pizza
2 packs of wacky jigs from Mikes RX

In other words... I spent more on food and soda than I did on tackle... a 1st for me.

I had a 16' Rebel that I loved.  Great boat!  The best aluminum boat you can buy!  8)

I bought 20 jig heads from Mccarter.  1 Ice cream cone.  Dan's looked to good to pass up.

I wanted to buy but none were represented.

Lowrance Elite 5 HD DI.   saw the demo but none for sale.
Duckett micro guide flipping rod.   the white will match my boat.
Powell 703 jig rod.   2 is not enough.
Ardent 700 Denny Brauer flipping reel.  2 maybe.

Back to mail order for me.   At least i got home with all the cash i took with me.

A half stick of Wisconsin all beef ("no artificial fillers"), garlic summer sausage. I worked across from that booth for three days. By the third day, my resistance had completely broken down.

dartag, do you mean the new Lowrance Elite 5 DSI combination chartplotter/fish finder with the Downscan Imaging?  If so... they are kind of hard to come by at this time... Lowrance has not filled many of their PO's at this time, so I'm not at all surprised there were none available at the show.  I know we haven't gotten ours yet.  Just FYI... we will be retailing this unit for $649.

Thanks,   by the time we need them I would imagine there will be lots of them.  Still have 15 inches of ice in front of my house.  Lowrance did have one there as a demo at the show.  Nice display for a small screen.

I would agree... pretty nice display.  I am supposed to get one to display in my store... we'll see how long it takes to get one!

My usual run to waynes booth. With the exception of buying the maps. Hopefully I get the maps soon so I can check them out. Read thru the books and would like to see some of these places on the maps. I like pictures!! Not a big reader but pushed threw it and read all 3 books. New water new adventures. Just dont want to drive 2 hours and they are not where I know to fish and Im boned. I figured any extra info would be great.
