I got an e-mail the other day stating I had made a $67.83 mistake on my taxes and I was entitled to the refund amount...the whole e-mail looks very authentic until you scroll way down and see the line where they ask for you ATM PIN#... BEWARE! any correspondence from the IRS will be received through the USPS, whether you eFiled or not.
I got that one last week, along with 2 from Chase Bank, 3 from eBay and a couple others that only said "Credit Union". I have a publicized University address, so I get that kind of stuff all the time...I wonder if there is any way to go after these folks?
If we could figure out how to make everyone in the whole world less gullible and smarter, maybe these low brow idiots would give up and crawl back under the rock...?
