I'll probably regret this, but I'm putting her up for sale. Here's the info:
1993 Ranger 482VS, 25th Anniversary Edition. Dual console, 19', Merc 150 EFI, tandem axle trailer, Minn Kota Maxxum 70lb trolling motor with recessed pedal, deck extension, two extra seats included. Even has a stereo! Humminbird 997cSI and 788c graphs. (3) newer Interstate batteries, onboard charger. Ranger cover. Beautiful condition. I'm not exaggeration when I say its probably the cleanest 20yr old boat you'll ever find. Probably cleaner than many 5 yr old boats! Not the fastest boat on the water (55mph) by todays standards, but its dependable and handles very well. I've read that there were only 200 of this special edition made. Found one online that recently sold for $12,900. I'm asking $11,500 which is about what I have invested in it.
Cant figure out how to add a picture, so email me (fasttrackmarc@gmail.com) if you are serious and need more info. Thanks!
Cant afford it myself but have ridden in this boat and will definitely second everything stated in his post! 11, 500 seems like a steal especially with those graphs. Hope youre upgrading marc!
Thanks man! No, not right away but hopefully eventually. Just gotta take care of some other business first.
I have been in this boat many, many times, and have quite a bit of drivers seat time as well. That said, it's a slug, beat up, needs new carpet, a tune up, and windshields.
Actually, as Marc said... it's the cleanest 20 year old boat on the market and worth MORE than his asking price. I've towed it, driven it, and fished it many times over the years and would own it in a heartbeat if I was looking for a new boat. I don't want him to sell it because I like fishing from it, but he has to do what he has to do. So, offer him MORE than he's asking if you want it!!
(there, I'll take my cut if it sells Marc!) ;D
you got it Mike!
BTW, it has a nice quick hole shot from the High 5 prop. Thats worth more to me than 1-2mph from a different prop, especially on the smaller lakes.
Have a couple replies from the Craigslist ad today so we'll see. Oh, and also a couple replies from people who wants to buy it for dad for Christmas but they are working 'at sea' and want my PayPal info so they can wire me payment and arrange for a delivery truck to come pick it up......Lol. Yes, I reported it as Phishing
Dam that would be a nice starter boat wish I had the funds at the moment
Hey, I want to buy it for my brother's cousin's uncle in Miami, Florida. He want's to take it to South America for his guide service, they mostly fish for Peacock Bass. I just inherited a large sum of money when my brother died. Give me your bank account number and I'll have my bank in Columbia wire the money directly to your account.
Thanks

Me too Tim! But part of the price would have to be a trip up north to your honeyhole to test it out!!! If I sell a couple other things first its being taken off the market. We'll see how it plays out.
