I dont like the weight and swivel options that are in stores. I dont fish any weights smaller than 1/4 oz. Bed fishing max weight is 3/4 oz. I like both sides of the swivel to be able to twist, Unlike most in stores. I wanted the weight shown to see at a glance what I'm grabbing. Shaped like a little bomb. smiley: happy I might paint them with some textured "Stone" colors.. What do you think about that? Look more natural dragging across the bottom?
What are your thoughts?

Look good, but I wonder what the fish think when they see a stone hopping along at the bottom of the lake.
Really Rick?
I like it. I have seen stones on the bottom of the lake before.

Those would be Eco Friendly. The Lead haters would like them.
Do you like the Cinch snaps. I use the old Barrel Swivels and tie them on with a couple granny knots. The Cinch snaps seem to cut the line to easy.
I like the swivels I make mine with. I never break my 8lb sniper. I do tie an overhand knot so it cant sling off. I just ordered 500 more swivels. I just poured 300 more dropshot weights today and ran out.
That should last ya a couple weeks. I did 200 about 3 years ago. Still have quite a few bags left. Soon as the water cools off a little out here we will have to test them out. The Smallies will be getting hungry. The Wake Ski Boats are out there in force today. 3 of them making HUGE waves.
I hope they outlaw those boats somehow... They ballast water to throw a wave big enough to erode tax payers property, slam their boats into their docks, damage seawalls.... 8^(
Mike,
I think they look great !!! I love how the weight size is marked on them...
I went out to pour some tube jigs yesterday. While warming up the lead i got busy doing something else and when the pot got hot the darn lead flowed all over the place...lol
Good thing I use a steel cart and do this outside...
That sounds dangerous... I think I will make the same mold again for tubes, I don't even fish tubes. LOL... But the weight size will be on each head. 8^)
Mike,
Can you share with us what mold you are using to start with ? I would love to pick up some of them for the tubes and the drop shot. Do they make a mold with all the same weights size ?
thanks Don L

And this from a firefighter !!!! lololol
Don't try this at home.. Im a trained professional... lol
Professional what? LOL...
I used these on Sat up to 25 FOW in wind/waves/current and they were better than any others I have tried or made previously... I was so happy, That I ordered another 1000 swivels. LOL
Glad to see you're keeping busy and out of trouble... Those look good!
I just pour the straight stick ones and can never remember what size they are...
Want me to make you some Dan? These are better LOL...
I won't turn down a gift hardly ever!! :)
A bag of 50 assorted sizes have been shipped to you priority mail... I should have sent them earlier this week so you could play with them on StClair today.
Caught about 30 on my lake today on The Stevie Rig. Had the weight cut down to just below the swivel. They wanted it dropping really slow. If the water cools down to 70 it will be on fire out there. Never seen as many minnows in the water as today.

That's awesome. I'll get another chance to try them out soon I'm sure. Thank you!

They like that Stevie Rig there for sure. I have to work on getting my weight down and being able to fish it confidently.
