From the PostStar.com:
Victims identified in Lake Champlain boat accident (http://poststar.com/news/local/article_4fc82660-c812-11df-9ff5-001cc4c002e0.html)
Read the article about a man run over and killed by a Ranger Bass Boat being driven by an acquaintance. This should never happen, yet it happens every year.

Two people I know personally have been involved in accidents made worse because an available and working kill switch was not used.
