I am looking for a boat launch at the south end of st clair by the detroit river not knowing the area very well can I get some info I read some stuff on the st jeans launch sounds kinda ify to me want to see if there were any other alternatives thanks
St Jeans is ok. It used to be a pretty bad area, but they have knocked down tons of trash houses. It is $10 to launch, but they have a guard there. He is kinda anoying, will talk your ear off when you are tying your boat down, but at least nobody messes with your stuff.

That guy was getting to know my boat...I usually gave him a pop or something while I wiped my boat down.....I was kind of hoping he would keep a little closer eye on my boat...Usually when I launch there is only about 4 boats in the lot anyway....
He does like to talk...I would imagine it is a pretty boring job staring at 4 walls all day...
Is someone there 7 days a week now and from what hours? Do you know their planned season now? Last time I went there, no one was there again. It was a while ago.
I was going to post the same thing. I am going over there on the 25th of this month, and was wondering if somebody could tell me of another launch to use. I can go to the Ensign ramp, but I am trying to figure out where I can go and catch some fish this time, and was wanting to go south of the Selfridge area.

Mike, you need to call me. I can help you out.
I'm no St. Clair expert, but usually in the Fall the St. Clair River is the place to be.
