I picked 20 3 lbers... that'd be fun...
In a tournament though... I'd like anything that would give me over 20 lbs...
Jose
Gimme the toad! I've had days with 30+ fish, lots over 3 pounds, but an 8 pounder is an 8 pounder. How about that 9 1/2 smallie that Blake posted?
You mean your allowed to turn in more than one fish?
The guys in my club told me I wasn't allowed to turn in more than one fish per tourny until
after i was a member for 5 years, Then I could turn in two as long as one of them didn't weigh more than one pound.
Why those sons a $%^&#'s.
I bet they were joking about having to wear the pink tutu also!!!!
Although I was just starting to get it broke in....
Sorry, I'm just waitning for 40 copies of my newsletter to print out, I'm bored.
I'll take 20lbs anyday of the week, but hey, as long as there is tug.
5 over 4lbs, isn't that every tournament anglers dream? 20 lbs usually gets you a check every time, plus makes just for a fun day.
I went with the 8 lber. I have caught 20 fish in the 3 lb range and i have caught 5 bass in the 4 lb range. Never in a tournament mind you. Never got a smallmouth over 5.5 lbs, but i think given a choice i would take an 8 lb largemouth. that would fire me up something aweful. Matter of fact, i would probably have to spend some time alone because i wouldnt be able to shut up about it and people would want to kill me after a while.

P.S. If it was a tournament i would have went with 'all of the above'
Well shoot... if you had the 'all of the above' choice, I would have picked that one too!
Hey Poorboy-
We gotta get you a 6 pound plus smallie this fall, man. You need to come fishing with me on Black or Mullet in late September/early October. I got a 5-10 and then a 6-1 on back-to-back cast a couple years back. Three casts later the 3-10 that came into the boat looked like a darn minnow! And I'm just like you, I wore everyone's ears off talking about that for about 3 months afterward! ;D
The invitation is open, son........
I like 5 fish for 20+ lbs.? Like Jose, that would give me a 4lb plus average.? I think that would be enough to get a paycheck.? That would be a heckuva day.? But for fun.......I'll take 20 fish in the 3lb range.? That would be fun and it would work out to 2+ fish an hour for an 8 hour day.? That would be fun........
BD? ? ? ;D
I will take the one 8lb largemouth. Not to many of those caught in this state. So that would be fun. I have caught several of the other sizes including a 7lb 2oz michigan largemouth so I would love to beat my best.
BD - check your math...;D
I think I am mathed out Dan from all those calculations I was doing for the fishfinder forum. You are right. I stand corrected sir. Okay 25lbs. That is even better yet. I amazing how I can solve for x, but can't do averages. Amazing.............. :o
BD ;D
Peace Brother!!!!!!!!
Not a problem with me... I can build a mean database, but I can't do crossword puzzles...;)
An invitiation to fish Mullet? You dont have to ask me twice. Your on.

still think i would take the 8lb toad, although the 20 lb sack is a good way to finance a year on the water!
Last year was my first fishing and a caught a 6.5 lb smallie my third time out. Needless to say I was hooked. I didn't realize what a big deal it was at the time. I would really enjoy a day catching 20+ fish since i haven't had that experience.
wow Sensei...you had a better highlight on your 3rd trip than i've had my whole career!! :'( Nice fish though, must have been fun! :o
That is a nice way to start out fishing. I really have done it since i was little so couldn't really tell you how I got hooked, But spending the money like I do on fishing has to tell myself that I am offically in it for life.
