Saturday March 7th 2015, 12 noon same place in Livonia. man time files. so far same as the years before, but this year bring anything you want to swap, sell or give away. The silent auction to help out a family in need of a little help will be back this year hoping for more stuff to auction off. (HINT HINT) see the link http://breanna.brandirawks.com/. so if you have any new things to donate for the auction it would be a big help. this is the Second year for this auction so lets Beat last years $100.
Food for the swap meet, i make a batch of chile every year and as always it will be a bigger batch this year this is not wimpy nor is it so hot you can't eat it, you are invited to bring a plate (or order a pizza) to pass if you want, chips, cookies, more meat for the grill etc you get the idea. i start this out this year with a case of beer (maybe a Nemesis home brew) light beers are up to you.
so bring a fist full of 20's or just kick back and BS about how fast your boat is or what your will be tied on the end of your line this comming spring.
yea, copy and paste is a great tool
i will be posting this on BBC and FB the more the better EH!
if i forgot anything i'm sure i'll hear about it
Bob O
Sweet
Just started going thru the gear
I'm sure I can find some thing that I don't need
For the auction it's a great cause
I'll throw this Suggestion out there
What about a donation jar or even a 5 cover charge that would also go to help out
$5 cover charge! He%% no these guys are cheap, hahahaha not really but a donation jar is a great idea.
Cool
It's cheaper for me to just drop a few 20's in a jar
Rather then part with the junk I collect
Awesome Bob, I can't wait.
Well Guys and Gals, it's almost Swap Meet time, March 7th will be here really fast, and we need some donations for the Big Bass for Breanna's Silent Auction. I'll be putting up a Hook N Look dvd package a lews speed spool (lefty) and some custom crankbaits from my own tackle box. So let's see what you can part with until your next stop at the tackle shop. Don't forget to bring some stuff to trade, or a fist full of $20's will work too. message me for my street address if needed
Count me in for some tackle donations for the silent auction. I have a some new, still in package lures, and some semi custom jigs I make that I will be more than willing to donate. And as long as no one minds some lightly used tackle, I will put together a bag of miscellaneous hard baits and soft plastics that can also be auctioned off.
Yup, me too Bob....... Will start pulling gear ! One of the look forward to events ! GLB members are one spoiled group to have this event !
Thanks guys. Tim, glad to meet you at the fishing show, MOJO missed ya this year i was there on saturday, oh well
Nice to meet you as well Bob. I'll finish getting the stuff I am going to donate together and I will get in contact with you to figure out the best way to get it to you as it doesn't look like I will be able to make the swap meet.
tim, yea too bad you can't make it, plenty of time for donations no need to rush
Just a reminder to the folks donating to the BB4B silent auction, it's only a month and 3 days until the swap meet/auction so if you can't make it in person you can always send it to me via snail mail and i'll make sure it gets on the auction table. FYI 100% of procedes go to BB4B. Thanks again, its going to be a great year i can just feel it
Bob what about a raffle?
We sell a deck of playing cards for $10 each; tear the card in half; half of card goes in coffee can; participants keep other half; draw a winner out of can. Winner gets $260, and needy family gets the other $260.

My old neighborhood. I lived on 5 mile just east of Merriman from 1989 til 1994, across from Merri-Bowl, next to the Kroger.
Wish I could make the swap meet, I got alot to trade/sell, but work calls.
Willie
WHoooooooo
Swap meet is tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
making Chili in the AM is always a blast, 5lb of mild and 3lb of spicy
Looking forward to it!
I'm bringing some of Gods best Deer Jerky - roasted hearts and tender strips. ;D
4th annual, I believe. It's always fun, and I got some $20's.....
Great time as always. Thanks again Bob for hosting. How much did we raise for charity?
$500 was raised from the silent Auction. Laporte and I battled it out on a number of items. I think we may have contributed 25% of that total. All good fun and great time.
yep totaly awsome $500 is just awsome, oh yea BJC you won the baitcaster for $10
Great. What is best way for me to get the cash to you?
hand it to me when you pick up the reel ;)
Sounds like a plan. If you will be home tomorrow, give me a shout: 313-304-2829.
