I'm heading up to Oscoda the 16th to visit my brother and a sister who has a place in Harrisville. My brother lives on Van Etten and we'll spend some time there. Any suggestions on good inland lakes to fish for smallies?
Go to the foote dam and check out around there or the deep hole just to the right of the boat launch just down from the dam.
I really like Hubbard Lake up near Osineke.(sp) The ponds will be good, or you could always take the hour drive over to Fletcher's Pond!!
Dan- I totally agree with blakstr1. Hubbard is an amazing smallmouth fishery. If you decide to go, look for weeds off of breaks.
