So I'm still building my arsenal, is anyone familiar with the sebile action first jerkbaits? Worth it? Buy one get one free right now. Also the storm arashi cranks?
Picked up some storms...impressed on casting distance.
I still catch fish on Rapala Husky Jerks, and Smithwick rougues too.
Not a person that uses a jerk bait so not a lot of help here but my friends over at Bad Poncho Outdoors love the sebile action first jerkbaits. I know they use them and do catch fish on them so I guess they are worth the money.
Still faithful to the Megabass Vision 110 and Jackall squad minnows.
Heard good things on the Jackall Squad minnow. Still like the Lucky Craft 100 ss. Certain colors rocks !

You know
I bought a few of the Megabass jerkbaits
And found out first hand, If you were to leave the box on the front deck for say a hour in the sun
The darn things plump up like hot dogs, there very temp sensitive
Looking it up. I found out it's a known problem with them a little to late
Strike king's red eye shad lipless cranks do the something, but they don't even need to be in direct sunlight....I have a half dozen MIS-shaped baits from heat...some of their other crankbaits do it too...

I've never had that happen with any of my Megabass jerkbaits. Can't tell if you're serious here Royce...

It happened
At first I thought gas or some thing got on them
But if you goggle it. It's a known thing
I still have a few left, But at this time I don't see me buying any more
Grinny
Thanx for the heads up on the red eye, didn't know they had the same problem.
I think the ones I have are the old japanese manufactured baits. The american manufactured ones I remember had a problem with their bearings getting stuck.
I would not leave any hard baits in the sun. Lesson learned back in the 80s when we had some two sided see through tackle boxes. Had many baits swell up all brands.
