In the business I'm in I should probably know this but I'm having trouble finding a place in west Michigan to repair my right side fender damage after my run in with a doe last Thursday. I need the fender replaced and painted and some minor "other damage" to that side of the trainer fixed. Most places I've called don't paint.
Open to suggestions... I need to get some estimates to my insurance company soon.
Thanks.
My grandpa had to repair a chunk of the fiberglass fender with strong alluminum. He just kind of slapped it together but it looks really well. You can tell it has been repaired but to a passing eye it sure is tough to tell not sure if youre interested in a quick kind of fix kind of fix like that. Just thought I'd pass some knowledge to ya
He is in Muskegon as well
The fender is destroyed and is covered by insurance... I'm not fixing this myself.
Ahh so were not talking about a small chunk missing here. Ah :-\' sorry to hear that, hope everything gets solved quickly
I'm not sure exactly what your fenders look like, but I have a brand new set in my shed that I got for my Nitro trailer.
Since you don't want to do it yourself, did you try VanKam? They are right on Whitehall Rd, not far from Fisherman's. They do all kinds of trailer work. My uncle works at Muskegon RV. I will call him and see if they would do work on a boat trailer. Heck, the guy that works on things at Point Marine might even do that. My buddy Brett works for him. I will ask him tomorrow.
Mike,
Call Richfield Trailer on Division. They should know who can fix it.
