I use Xtreme Bass Tackle X-worms and Nemesis Sickos.

The Xtreme X-Worms are poured by Bucket Mouth.

I don't want to click that link unless it is the one about the girlfriend being launched from the back deck of the boat...??

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Yes... but they're in the Xtreme Bass Tackle colors I really like. A lot!

I wish I had an aquarium to watch, tape and post the fall difference between brands. Has anyone done this to see the differences, if any, between them? ???

Check U-tube

This guy has allot of the stick baits on video

I experiment a lot.

The Yum dinger in Mardi Gras color or the grey and white version are pretty good.

The X worm has great colors, and is denser than the some other stick worms.  Works great on a day when you want a faster sink rate.

For me, day in and day out, the Nemesis 4" Sicko in the KLK color just seems to out fish the rest.  They are soft, and they do tear quicker than the Dinger, but they also have a different action because they are softer.

I believe that it is this action that catches the numbers of fish that it does.

If money is an issue, then throw torn worms in the bottom of the boat.  Superglue them back together when you get home.

So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.

It's interesting that so many people like the Nemesis Sicko.

But even buying the GY at 7.49 a bag for 10 or the Nemesis for 5.99 for 8
there the same price (.75 a piece)

I'm really after a cheaper Senko

For the time, effort, supplies, and resources it takes for a small independent manufacturer to make a bait, $.75 is not pricey.  Unless someone has a huge 50 bait injection mold (which would cost upwards of maybe $350-$400) and can make a thousand baits per day, the actual profit per bait is minimal as it is.  Any less and it's called a "hobby".  Sorry.

A good reason why I'll pay Cheetam and Carolina Chip some serious $$ for a crankbait is that I can get a custom bait made that I like much more than many $5.99 cookie-cutter, cheap paint job, never gonna run true bait.  Here's the main one, I personally know these guys and I'll keep my money "in the family" for a topnotch, high quality product!

Not speaking for BMac, Horling, Wayne, or any others, just offering a new perspective from the flip-side.

A big-time "addiction" to bass fishing isn't cheap!  I worked in the skiing industry back in college and if I hadn't worked at a ski shop, had support from K2, Marker, and others I couldn't have had 5 pairs of skis and traveled all over.  On the other hand, I would've done much better at UM had I not been so obsessed with skiing! ;D

Good luck in your search, sir!

Is it ok if I change direction a little here.  Since a few have mentioned it already, what is your favorite size senco to use and your favorite way of rigging???  I usually use the 5inch and texas rig them weightless.  But I'm open to change.  lolol

Now on the original topic, I tried some BPS baits at a sale price of $3.99 for 20 would work on the shallow water bass on my home lake.  Didn't think it would make much difference... ummmm  the jury is still out but it seems it does make a difference.  lol

Manxfishing

Jeff,

For me it's a 5" as well but I like to rig them wacky
Wieghtless for shallow
But I have done well some days weighted with a nail weight
It all depends on the wind or how deep I'm trying to fish.

So what rod do you like to throw them on?
For me
It's a 6'-9" med kistler with a 10# test

FishermanJohn

It all depends on the day and the mood of the fish.  I fish senko style baits very often and depending on the rate of fall I want I use Nemesis Stickos, Yum Dingers, Yamamoto's, and the BPS stickos.  They each have their own rate of fall and flutter and I change often.  The youtube link posted shows this well.  I rig them both wacky and weightless Texas depending on cover.
