2008 member rosters will be mailed to the clubs this week - the 2007 listed presidents and secretaries should get them. We'll have further information posted over the next few days on an April 2008 membership meeting and other events and information.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Dan,
Do you know when the roosters got mailed out and when can we expect to see some info on the board meeting. Just wondering, for I have not seen anything come just yet and I did not want to miss anything.

I have the minutes now to summarize for the web site. I'll get them to the webmaster by the weekend.

I'll check with Dennis on the mailing.

Dues are $30 per member (discounted rate) if sent to Dennis by 12/31/07, and $40 per member (regular rate) after 12/31/07.

You can download an Excel roster form from http://www.michigantbf.com/images/TBFMIroster.xls if you want to get started.

Short delay as we were hoping we might include more details in the mailing. Anyone can download the roster from www.michigantbf.com if the don't want to wait. I believe one of the board members will also be calling presidents of existing clubs this weekend.

I do not think we will have 2008 state championship details set by this weekend, but we will by the end of December.

Dues discounted to total $30 per member (includes state and national federation) if received by 12/31/07. Mail to:
TBF of Michigan
41970 JASON DR
CLINTON TWP MI 48038

After 12/31/07, regular dues of $40 per member apply.

Anyone who can't find a local club (see the clubs list on www.michigantbf.com) is welcome to join The Bass Boys. Go to www.greatlakesbass.com/bassboys for more info.

YOUTH
It looks like the 2008 youth state championship will be Father's day weekend on Lake Nepessing, but that is not set in stone, just what we are working on right now. Youth dues are $5 (national only, no state dues) and any youth that can't find a local club can join the statewide club - MI Jr Jawbreakers through Dennis Beltz. Call 586 286 3523 for more information (or send questions to me - www.greatlakesbass.com/fishing/contact.html)

GENERAL INFO
TBF of Michigan web site has a new webmaster taking over so we should be able to update and improve timeliness soon.

We may have an informational meeting at the Novi Ultimate Fishing Show in January. Regardless, we will have a booth and much information there and Outdoorama, BPS, Lansing and Grand Rapids.

We will have our one annual mandatory club meeting in April at Gander Mountain - Novi. I will post the date as soon as we confirm the location. At least one person from each club must attend. We will have 3 board positions taking nominations at that meeting.
