GreatLakesBass.com is free for you. I do my best to provide a fun, friendly place to share and find tons helpful information. I work many hours behind the scene that you don't see keeping the spammers and scammers off the website, and away from you and your computers and smart phones.

Maintaining GreatLakesBass.com (GLBass) is practically a full time job for me. There's a significant monetary cost to me too because of the time away from paying jobs along with server hosting and some software and services.

Will you please help out? I do not plan on doing as some sites do and ask for a paid membership for the functions already here. One simple way to help with the costs of keeping GLBass safe and fast as possible is to simply donate. Any amount is a help. And you will be added to the GLBass Friends group which makes you able to upload your own photos into the Gallery here if you aren't already, and for additional benefits as they are added.

A great way you can support this web site is to please, please always consider the companies who make this site possible - particularly the companies listed on the GreatLakesBass.com Sponsors page - www.greatlakesbass.com/sponsors/.

Another way you can easily help GreatLakesBass.com without costing any more money out of your pocket is by starting any of your online shopping with our shopping links. We sometimes have online specials not otherwise available that can save you money on purchases you plan on making. By starting your shopping through the GLBass links, we may receive a small commission that does not affect your price. Please see our Disclosure Policy required by the FTC.

You can save money online through stores like Amazon.com, Basspro.com, Bass Tackle Depot, Cabelas, Gander Mountain, West Marine, Walmart.com, Magazine Discount Center, Seaviewer Cameras, Campers World and others. Just visit our shopping links pages and click on a graphic or text link, or use the search boxes to find what you're looking for and maybe even save some money. Doing this consistently will help GreatLakesBass.com grow.

You can also view the latest Basspro.com online coupons and price drops. Please check often for changing deals. You can also search and shop Basspro.com.

You can also search Basspro.com or Boatersworld.com directly through GreatLakesBass.com. You won't leave this site unless you click on a product purchase or more info link.

There's also a GreatLakesBass.com Amazon.com store where you can SAVE BIG on almost anything!! I buy many things from them to save money in these challenging times.

We also sell a few products including GreatLakesBass.com decals, and books and custom GPS maps on Lake St. Clair from the GreatLakesBass.com store or the separate GreatLakesBass.com apparel store. They are there for anyone who is interested.

Using these links and products will do a lot to keep GreatLakesBass.com up and growing. Thank you very much!

Of course, just by coming here and participating in a friendly manner, you already help out quite a bit - thanks! Your word of mouth in recommending GreatLakesBass.com to other people you know is ALWAYS greatly appreciated.

Because my desire is to keep GLBass running well and safe, their are decisions I have to make periodically to practice good business, promoting and supporting the companies that help me cover the costs and my time. Occasionally, there will be companies I have to have a no links policy on for these reasons. If you happen to place a link to one of these companies in your post, the links will be removed. Please do not take this personally.

Here is a list of companies I ask you not to place links for on GLBass:
Tackle Wa re h ouse - no links please (or mention of company name)

Please remember to use the shopping links on GreatLakesBass.com before you shop online. I will keep working on that section to make it easier for you. If you can donate, that is always helpful and every penny goes toward the web hosting and related web costs. Even a $5 donation is helpful and puts you on the GLBass Friends group!

Thank you to 3 more members for donating. Also, if you make a purchase using one of the shopping links (Bass Tackle Depot, Cabelas, Bass Pro Shops, Amazon, eBay, etc), please send me a PM if you are not already in the GLBass Friends member group and I will update you. Just the store name, date and total purchase amount is all I need.

No details. I don't get details. I don't always get credit either but that is my technical issue. I don't mind hearing if you purchase something from one of the advertiser sponsors either through PM. It helps me communicate with them about the effectiveness of their assistance to GreatLakesBass.com - whether I can keep them on here or not. Thanks!!

You will also get added to the GLBass Friends member group if you help for 2 hours or more in the booth at one of the outdoor shows. Thanks!
