almost caught up with winter builds! the end is in sight... well it was until i ordered myself 2 flippin stick blanks and a 6'8" dock pitchin rod. price was too good to pass up... ;D


rx6 SB782 "all purpose" rod to be given as a b-day present. hardloy guides, fuji reel seat. finally got to try out the checkboard jig i got for xmas

rx7 ISB843 built as a casting rod. Spiral wrapped using batson micros (3.5s) for a buddy

Nice job dude. Good lookin sticks. How did you like those tiny feet on the Batsons? Those were my first micros.

feet didn't bother me so much. i won't however ever use them again. i've replaced about 10 of them over the last 2 years. Sticking with fujis or kigan's now.

I only use K-series micros anymore. The regular fly style guides are too wimpy(bend easy). The K's also ride just a bit higher which I like.

Good looking builds!  I've been cranking them out myself.  Trying to get everything done so I can go fishing.
