I look forward to this every year. In some ways I like it better than the "big" shows. I get to see and talk to guys that know a lot more than I do, and that's a good thing.
Last year I met Marcel, and heard his seminar on rattle baits. Opened up a whole new way of doing things for me.
I also saw a presentation on drop shotting. Sorry I don't remember the guys name but he was also very good. Drop shotting has turned bad days into good ones for me.
Heck, last year I even won the hourly raffle give away. I couldn't believe what cool things were in there.
And then there's the hot dogs and chips. All in all, a very cool couple of days.
Unfortunately I won't be able to be there until Sunday. Hope everybody doesn't just go on Saturday.
This is a great show. It's a lot of fun, with cool vendors and cool people. I've definitely met more people at this show (a lot from GLB) than any other. Hopefully I'll have some cool stuff to show off this year.
i'll be there, and my wife and son too. hey jeff are you going to be there all day 9-6?
Gotta come fill my Yamalube jugs.
planning on attending saturday. haven't been to it since the first one. looking forward too.
cheetam, are you just showing or selling? plan to stop by & say hello. maybe asking some questions since i'm just starting into doing some lure painting myself.
Just wanted everyone to know that Kim Stricker, who will be here with his Hook and Look TV, is doing a special Seminar Saturday only at 1pm on his underwater camera work.
Also, Dan will be having his video playing both days for those who have not seen it. Questions can be answered by him at his booth in the showroom.
Hope to see everyone here. Many new vendors, as well as the regulars will be here with some last minute deals before you hit the water.
And as always, please look me up and say hello, especially if we have not met yet.
Ralph, are there seminars again in the Maint. building?
If so, is there a schedule of who, when, and what the topic is?

Only the one seminar this year so we all can spend a lot of time up front, talking fishing, and looking at tackle and boats!
I will be there all day Sat and Sun. If no one buys anything, then I guess I'm just "showing"...lol.
Jeff, you will most likely be sold out be noon Saturday.
Well that's when I arrive anyway. ;)

I'm bringing a truck load of stuff, so bring the checkbook ;D. Well, it's not exactly a truck load, more like a moped full. Or, a least a small bicycle. :D
what a great little fishing show, karen jon and i had a great time but i ran out of $20's. i've got hooks on the craw i got from jeff stopped by the GLB booth and saw some pics of huge peacock bass. my son jon was all jacked up chocolate donuts and getting too uesd to the jetskis (good thing they weren't in the water). after we left we headed to webberville and hit michigan brewing company for some kick azz chicken wings and cold beer.
why didn't wonderland have any boats on display?
thanks to everyone who came out. the attendance was waaaaay down compared to the last 2 years. i dont understand why people wouldnt want to come out to a free fishing show with free food, free seminars, free giveaways, and the chance to hang out with cool people such as myself and jeff cheetam.
over heard a few people who mentioned they were GLBass.com members but didnt stop over to say hi to me and bobber. congratulations, your now off the christmas list. :-*
McCarter himself :-\'
I had to work all weekend. gotta make that chedda!
Mccarter thanks for the free jig.
i agree & was very suprised by a low attendance there on saturday. sorry did not stop by your booth brian. did stop & get to talk to cheetam to some length and get some airbrushing tips. thanks jeff.
met adam from next level baits as i had met his partner back in 2008. he does our condo complex landscaping.
got to say hi to fiker & stackeeum (? sorry bill). been about 3 yrs since i've seen them.
saw a little of dan's peacock trip before watching stricker's seminar and a chance to say hi to dan.
all in all, enjoyed the day out there...
I would like to thank all those who did come out this weekend what a fun show, Thanks Ralph!
Duane
I had a lot of fun this weekend. Even though it was slow at times, there were still a bunch of friends there (old and new) to hang out with and swap stories. Thanks to everyone that stopped by and said hi! And thanks to Ralph and WMW for setting this thing up and getting us all together.
