My father has been diagnosed with lung cancer this morning. Luckily, it seems beatable. There is small cell located on his lung and has not spread anywhere yet. Hopefully we have caught it soon enough and he gets through this. The doctors seem optimistic and say that there is a new medical treatment they are putting him on that has had a high success rate so far. Your thoughts and prayers for him as well as the rest of the family are appreciated.

My mom ( 87 ) just had surgery for breast cancer ( 3 small spots ) last Tuesday, and Friday we got word that they got it all. So please keep the faith, as we will keep you and your family in our prayers.

Unfortunately, my father passed away Saturday morning. He died in peace at home with his family surrounding him. We weren't expecting him to make it through the weekend. He had stopped chemo therapy in December because his platelette counts were so low he couldn't receive the treatment. So please continue to pray for our family we appreciate it.

I lost my Mom 5 years ago to complications due to lung cancer. My Dad is currently in remission with the same thing.
I am so very sorry for your loss. I still have both my parents, but I know it wont be that way forever. I can only say, I feel for you and your family in this rough time. Anything any of us can do, all you need do is ask. There are so many great people on this site, and we are all with you.
