Title: Prayer Request
Post by: SODY on May 08, 2009, 10:04:44 PM
Hi all, could really use your prayers for my family, after a brief struggle with bone cancer my Brother Wayne Soderquist passed away and I lost the best fishing partner a man could have. He was 55 and much to young to go....he was a christian and that is a great
comfort. However we were a great lakes fishing family and I can't hardly look a my boat without thinking of him and lake MI & St.clair etc. My Dad Duane and his Daughter Christine are really suffering. This is my advice, Accept Christ, love each other and fish often.
Rich

Sorry about your brother and fishing partner RIch. I know what it is like to loose your best fishing partner. I think about mine all the time when I'm on the water. You will too when you're ready. Prayers.
Dan

hey rich, been through that with dad, lost him last year after cancer took him from us. took him out  the year before in my little 14ft sea nymph just to spend time with him. didn't catch much but at least we got to be together for a while.
last thing he said to me on this side of Glory was "i love you" i'll never forget that .so he's waiting with Christ for all of us to come home. be brave and take care of his little girl for him ok? love ya guy..karol
